For more than 15 years, PSA and HPSA have been providing national estimates of personal selling activity by pharmaceutical companies to the AMA-classified universes of office-based and hospital-based physicians. With a panel of physicians across 32 office-based and 31 hospital-based specialties, PSA and HPSA provide a comprehensive view of detailing activity.
Detailing data can be segmented by therapeutic class, corporation, company, or product, and cut by physician specialty. Other variables collected in PSA/HPSA include call location, detail order, detail spending, time spent detailing, and sample information. PSA/HPSA data are collected monthly and delivered via the Report Generatorâ„¢, which allows for easy integration with other SDI market research data.
