ExpertDS is a master database that houses practitioner demographics, contact information, professional practice data, degree, primary organization specialty, and industry-standard identifiers (AMA, AOA, DEA, state license, etc.). It is the industry-leading master data management system for scrubbing, linking, and cleansing healthcare professional data and ensures that client professional universes are de-duplicated and linked to all industry-standard professional identifiers.
ExpertDS prescriber cleansing services provide the reference backbone to SDI’s Vector One® line of services and the foundation for Sales Force Automation, CRM, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart applications, ensuring the most accurate capturing and reporting of healthcare professional information.
Expert DS offers:
Address Scrubbing
Addresses are standardized by correcting common misspellings, returning corrected street address, city, state, and ZIP information. Address scrubbing improves a client’s file, yielding accurate mailing addresses, ZIP-to-territory alignment, and optimizing sales force efficiency.
Matching and De-duping Files
Each record is matched to SDI’s master database, and a unique prescriber identifier is returned. Duplicates within the client file can be easily identified and removed. A cleansed call file provides clients a more accurate master file for better targeting. Files can be accepted in various formats, including Excel, Access, and text.
Industry-Standard Professional Identifiers (DEA, AMA, AOA, etc.)
Industry identifiers facilitate matching to internal and external data sources that provide clients with prescriber information such as AMA, DEA, and other relevant data points. Information is refreshed through weekly, monthly, and quarterly third-party file updates.
Best-of-Breed Addresses
Multiple data points and inputs are brought together to determine the best address to reach the prescriber.
Degree and Specialty Information
Details such as degree, primary organization specialty, secondary organization specialty, full name, and other data points for prescribers are included.
Prescriber Validator™ Service
This service verifies that a prescriber is licensed so sales representatives can legally drop off samples. This allows the client to be in compliance with the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987.
PDRP Opt-Out and ‘No Contact’ Flags
Flags are included to indicate Physician Data Restriction Program opt-out and ‘no contact’ preferences for prescribers on a call file. A client can conform to practitioner wishes using these flags.
